Tori and Kate’s story began in January 2022, when fate brought them together at a Cyclebar class. It was only Kate’s third ride, but the first one led by Tori. From the moment the class began, Tori’s radiant energy and captivating charm left Kate utterly speechless—a rare occurrence for those who know her well.

Kate continued to attend Tori’s classes a few times a week, building up the courage to ask her for coffee. Though Tori happily agreed, their schedules never seemed to align. Even when they made plans for dinner, life had a way of keeping them apart.

Over the next year and a half, a friendship blossomed as they saw each other at the Cyclebar studio. As fate would have it, on Good Friday in 2023 Kate had arranged a night out in the city with Christine & Lisa, some newer friends she met through Cyclebar and, of course, Tori was invited and most importantly, able to attend.

While enjoying drinks, Tori and Kate found themselves sitting side by side when the winds of fate began to stir. Tori recalls a single look from Kate that said everything—it was in that moment she knew they were meant to explore something more than friendship. The night unfolded with laughter, delicious food, and the company of good friends, but something had undeniably shifted between the two of them.

After that unforgettable night, Kate and Tori found themselves spending more and more time together. They finally shared their first one-on-one dinner, marking the beginning of something special. Soon after, they went to a Cubs game with another couple—a night they playfully dubbed 'not a double date.' As the days and weeks passed, their conversations grew more playful and flirtatious, and they began to discover new depths to each other, realizing there was something undeniable between them.

One evening after their usual Tuesday cycling class, a casual conversation took an unexpected turn. Tori found out that Kate was at home watching Beauty & the Beast while having dinner, and couldn't resist playfully teasing her for not inviting her over. With a laugh, Kate quickly made amends, inviting Tori to a movie night that weekend to 'make things right.' The playful banter between them had a new energy, and both knew that this movie night wasn’t just about a film—it was the moment when their true feelings for one another would finally come to light.

That night, as expected, their true feelings surfaced, and from that moment, life seemed to fall effortlessly into place. Together, they embarked on countless adventures—exploring the wild beauty of Montana and Yellowstone National Park, the charm of Toronto, the romance of Paris, and making memories on magical Disney trips and sunny escapes to Mexico.

In their shared Chicago home, they now host gatherings filled with laughter and love, while also enjoying all that the city has to offer. Their little family grew with the addition of Francis, an adorable black cat who keeps them entertained and on their toes.

Today, Tori and Kate are filled with gratitude for the immense love and support they’ve received from family and friends throughout their journey together.
