What is the wedding day itinerary?
The entire event will be at Parker Pines (259 Elwin Ln, Latta, SC 29565). Guests may start arriving at the venue at 3:00pm at the earliest, but please arrive no later than 4:00pm sharp for a ceremony start of 4:30pm. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking & finding your seat. We plan to dance the night away until 11:00pm EST. Full schedule & details to come!
Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?
We are planning to host a Welcome Happy Hour, following our rehearsal & grooms dinner on Friday, August 9th.
Taylor has booked 6 tee times the morning of Friday, August 9th starting at 8:40am for those who have RSVP'd to golf. Golf Course: Wellman Golf Club (438 South Georgetown Highway, Johnsonville, SC, 29555). Groups & details to come!

What is the dress code? Any colors to avoid?
We would love to see our friends & family all dressed up with us! We are requesting a semi-formal dress code for our wedding. While we know it will be warm out, please dress comfortably but classy. We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - white & ivory. As well as, overly bright colors and loud patterns that will stand out in photos.
Be sure to bring your rain coats, boats & umbrellas. It’s like raaaaaaain on your wedding day!
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors? What's the weather?
Our wedding ceremony will be held outdoors with some tree shade coverage. All other events will be inside the Parker Pines reception hall with air conditioning. There is also additional outdoor seating, fire pit area and games. The average weather in August in Latta, South Carolina = Hi 88°F / Lo 72°F, 76% humidity, 39% cloud cover, 6 UV index.
Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotels?
Yes. We will have a shuttle available to/from the blocked hotels: Holiday Inn in Latta, SC & Holiday Inn in Florence, SC.
PICK UP in Florence = Only 1 Shuttle at 2:00pm ET (30 min away)
PICK UP in Latta = 1st Shuttle at 3:00pm ET, plan 2-3 trips. (10 min away)
END OF NIGHT = 1st Shuttle leaves at 9:30pm, 10:30pm, & Last Shuttle at 11:30pm
Is there parking available?
Yes! There is parking available at Parker Pines, there will be a Parking Attendant directing traffic at least one hour before the ceremony. You can also leave your vehicles overnight if choose to use shuttle.
Can I take photos & post them on on social media?
We are asking for an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away & silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures that we will share with you. In addition, please do not post on social media before the ceremony. Once we say I do, take lots of photos, share & tag us in your posts!
What date should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by April 10th, 2024. You can use the QR code on your invitation or click the RSVP tab in the menu above. If you do not RSVP in time we will assume you are unable to attend.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "{Your Name} & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. We hope you understand, and please feel free to reach out to us with any questions!
Am I allowed to bring my kids?
We hope you understand that children are only invited if named on your invitation due to limited capacity. Your invitation will be made out to "The {Your Last Name} Family," if your children have been invited. Please reach out if you have any questions!
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
We feel your presence is a present itself especially since you are traveling to be with us on our special day. If you wish to contribute, we'd appreciate your support of our home fund or honeymoon fund to keep things easy due to travel. Your love and good wishes mean the world to us, and we're truly grateful for your effort to celebrate with us.
