General Questions
What is the dress code?
We have requested that our guest dress their best in Semi-Formal attire and are also asking that our guests please wear the color BLACK. We appreciate your cooperation in respectfully following our vision for our wedding as our theme is a black and white wedding.
Please note we ask guest to refrain from casual wear such as jeans, t-shirts, shorts or mini dresses.
Men may wear a white colored button down under their suit, but we ask that all guests refrain from wearing any plain white, ivory or cream colored outfits aside from the bride and flower girl.
Can I bring a plus one?
All invitations will specify who is included, however, for some we may have written “and guest”. Should you find that it does not specify a name, you may bring who you would like, just make sure to provide us with the name of said guest so that we can properly address them the day of. We are so very thankful to have all of those who love and support us joining us on our big day!
Can we bring our kids to the wedding?
While we would love to have children in attendance, this is primarily an adults only event (18+). Think of this as an opportunity to have a date night to yourselves. If there are any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to us to discuss further.
There will be exceptions to this including: If there is a kid in the bridal party or if there is a situation that has already been discussed prior to the event with the bride and groom.
Do we need to RSVP?
Absolutely! We ask that you kindly RSVP by August 2nd, 2025 and include a dinner selection for each member of your invited party. Unfortunately, if you do not RSVP by this date, we will have to mark you as a "no".
An RSVP is necessary so that our venue and vendors can have the correct guest count for seating, food, beverages, and decor.
Ceremony Related Questions
Where will the ceremony take place?
For your convenience both the ceremony and reception will take place at Mountain Valley Golf Course. For those unfamiliar with the venue, when you arrive there will be a large parking lot at the top of the road that sits between the Clubhouse (where cocktail hour and the reception will take place) and the Overlook (where the ceremony will take place).
Is photography allowed during the ceremony?
We ask that guests please put their phones away during the ceremony itself in order to prevent any distractions.
Reception Related Questions
Will there be alcohol?
Yes, we will be having an open bar which will include two bar areas for your convenience. The first bar will be located inside and the second bar will be located outside on the deck (weather permitting). Please note the bar will be closed for an hour during dinner.
What's on the menu for dinner?
Dinner is going to be a plated meal. Guests will begin by being served a pear salad.
Entrees will then be as follows chicken stuffed with bread filling, bistro tender beef or our vegetarian option penne ala vodka. You will choose one of these options for each guest when you RSVP for the wedding.
All entree's will be served with mashed potatoes and garlic roasted broccoli.
Any children in attendance have the option of chicken fingers and french fries or macaroni and cheese.
Any food allergies should be brought to our attention right away and be done during the RSVP process or by simply reaching out to us.
What Hors D' Ouevres will be served during cocktail hour?
During cocktail hour 4 Hors D' Ouerves will be available to our guests which include tomato basil bruschetta, stuffed mushrooms, mini meatballs and general tso's pot stickers.

Where can I stay for the wedding?

Note only the Comfort Inn & Suites on I81 has a hotel block and provides transportation for our wedding, but you are more than welcome to choose another hotel that we have listed as they are located close by as well.
Will there be transportation?
Yes, a shuttle from the Comfort Inn and Suites will run our guests over to our venue at 3:15, 3:30 and 3:45. Times will also be posted in the hotel lobby as a reminder. Last call for the shuttle prior to our ceremony will be at 3:45 pm, please be prompt if you are going to use the shuttle.
