We love to stroll around the art museum! It's not huge so it won't take up too much of your day, and it's right downtown so it's a great area to walk around. While you're there, stop at Madcap across the street--this is where Kate works!

Frederik Meijer is a huge garden and is a great place to spend your day. We especially love the greenhouse with all of the tropical plants. We must have a soft spot for botanical gardens since we got engaged at one in Mexico City!

Blandford is one of our favorite trails in the Grand Rapids area. It has some paved routes for easier strolls but also ventures into some wooded areas. It's connected to the Highlands which we also love, and is one of our favorite places to bird watch!

Hands down our favorite cocktail spot in GR! Can't go wrong with gin & tonics on tap.
