Elaine Miller - Maid of Honor/Sister of the Bride
The typical older sister who always kept me in line and has had my back through it all. But she’s also so much more — she’s my biggest cheerleader and her love for her "little sis" is unreal! No one else could be more qualified for this role because most of my wedding ideas were born out of hours of daydreaming with her about what our special days would look like. Her enthusiasm for being my designated dress fluffer and bouquet holder during the ceremony is unmatched, and I couldn’t imagine doing this without her by my side!
Caleb Benedict - Best Man/Brother of the Groom
Where to begin with Caleb? By the time the wedding rolls around, we will have been brothers for 24 years, roommates for 23 years, and I will have given a best man speech at his wedding as well. While when we were younger, you would have thought we were like oil and water, Caleb is one of closest friends that I now go to for advice and help on anything from home improvement projects to life advice. I am excited to watch him start his own family, but he will also definitely earn the title of "the fun uncle" in our family as well.
Faith Benedict - Bridesmaid/Sister of the Groom
Faith is truly like the little sister I never had, and even though she’s seven years younger, she somehow manages to keep me young. She’s my ultimate hype woman, always bringing joy, positivity, and the best energy into any moment. Some of my favorite memories with her are our shopping sprees, cracking up over TikToks, and cheering on the Illini together. I’ve also loved watching her passion shine while showing her Hereford heifers in the summer and going on fun adventures to trade shows. Faith truly feels like the sister I was lucky enough to choose, and having her stand with me on this special day means the world.
Josh Johnson - Best Man/Brother From Another Mother
My brother from another mother. By the end of the day on May 2nd, JJ and I will have both spoke at each other's weddings as well. JJ moved to Mahomet when he was in 7th grade and we have pretty much been friends ever since that day. We have won basketball games, explored Champaign's campus bars, vacationed, and grown up together. He is my go-to for any question I have relating to money, and I take about 10% of the credit that he and his wife, Keely, got married. It'll be an honor to have him stand up with Kate and I at the wedding.
Carrie Gill - Bridesmaid/College Roommate
Carrie is the kind of person you always want around — she keeps life entertaining and has a way of reminding me daily that some &@$% really isn’t that deep! Over the past four years, my favorite memories have been cheering on the Illini at sporting events, grabbing endless meals at our favorite campus spot (Chopstix), and spending way too much time hanging out in mega bed at our sorority house.
Bryden Barber - Groomsman/Cousin
Cousin BBB was one of the founding members of "The Boys Back Home" that used to taunt my dad and grandpa when they couldn’t throw us off of the tube at the lake. Bryden and I enjoyed growing up together as cousins, but I call him a true friend today as well. We share the same passion for the cattle/hereford business, and he'd be my first call if I ever needed a herdsman. Ladies take note - he is a great dancing partner at a wedding!
Christina White - Bridesmaid/College Roommate
Formally known as Tina to me and all our closest college friends, she’s the one who always knew what we should wear before a night out. Tina also is my longest standing roommate in college of all four years, so she has been through all my highs and lows! Whether it was attending an Illini Football tailgate, driving us to Moes after a fun night out, or always having a deck of cards on her she is ready to have a good time!
Cory Noe - Groomsman/Childhood Friend
Cory was the very first kid that I met when I moved to Mahomet all the way back in 1st grade. I should have taken more notes on Cory's jumpshot growing up, because he can flat ball. That being said, Cory and I got to play a lot of games together, and it was a bunch of fun. Now, we both get to work together at ADM, but nothing has changed, he still doesn't want to eat lunch together because he can't score on me.
Lauren McMillian - Bridesmaid/College Friend
Lauren and I became besties after studying abroad in Europe, and since then, her fun, bubbly personality and glass-half-full mindset have been impossible not to love. One of my top five college memories has to be being Krush Kaptains together during our best season of Illini basketball! Even though she’s now an East Coast girl, Lauren is always just a call or text away! Fun fact: Noah and Lauren grew up together showing cattle!
Tom Boatman - Groomsman/Cattle Friend
Tom took a chance on a young kid that stalled next to him at the state fair, and asked me to come up and help work his cattle sale when I was around 13 years old. I loved the cattle business before then, but that opportunity is what spiraled into many of the really cool places I have gotten to travel. Tom has been a great friend, mentor, employer, and cattle partner for me. Owe a lot to him and his family even though he is a diehard Auburn fan.
Sarah Meghrian - Bridesmaid/College Friend
From sorority sisters, to my go-to for Cardinals games or a game of pickle ball in the summer of '24. In college, our barn dance adventures and the first trip to Italy were highlights I’ll always cherish. She’s all about side quests and spontaneous adventures, and her passion for traveling is both inspiring and terrible for my future bank account! Genuinely just an all around great human and friend! Fun fact: she took partial credit when Noah and I first started dating!
Corbin Cowles - Groomsman/Cattle Friend
Someone I look up to… in more ways than one. Corbin and I have become very close in the last 2 years or so. It's always a great time when we get to work a sale together. Cattle will be sold and beers will be had. Corbin is always willing to take a call and not only listen, but encourage some of the crazy ideas I have relating to Hereford cattle. Another great dancing partner at a wedding, and if you need a conversation starter, ask him what it's like to tailgate in Champaign.
Natalie Miller - Bridesmaid/College Friend
During college, Natalie started out as my "scary" assistant new member educator, but thankfully, I saw through that pretty quickly because scary is not how I’d ever describe Nat! From living in the sorority house to dressing up for Halloween and celebrating Illini wins at KAMS, some of my favorite college memories are filled with her. Fun fact: She actually went to high school with Noah — clearly, we know how to surround ourselves with the best people!
Michael Myerscough - Groomsman/Childhood Friend
I would be scared to know how many times Michael and I have referenced a particularly fun trip to World Beef Expo together. We have grown a lot from me trying to avoid the weird sheep kid in junior high to now being in each other's weddings. Michael will be 24 at the wedding, but if you talked to him on the phone, you'd guess him at 64. In all seriousness, a great friend that would drop everything to help if I needed it.
Jimmy Bernard - Usher/Cattle Friend
THE James Bernard couldn't be left out. I take a lot of credit for who Jimmy is today. Took him to Kams for the first time and set him up on a silver platter for his girlfriend. Not sure which of those events is more important in a Jimmy's life, but both are memorable for sure. Jimmy is great to have a part of Benedict Herefords at shows, and always provides quality commentary when either of us need to kill an hour on a drive.
Keaton Youngblood - Usher/Future Brother-in-Law
The other member of "Momma Miller's Boys" and I am happy to have Keaton around. Elaine and Kate would have me outnumbered otherwise. When I first met Keaton, I described him to my family as "just a really good dude" and that still holds true now. Happy to have him apart of the big day!
Bryar Johnson - Flower Girl/Grammy Miller's First Grandchild
Joseph & Anna Wagoner - Ring Bearer &Flower Girl/Noah's Cousins
