Kate and Rodrigo's journey began during homecoming week of their freshman year of high school, but their true connection blossomed years later during their senior year. Sharing the same choir class gave them the chance to truly get to know one another. Their friendship quickly grew outside of school, with countless texts and Snapchats deepening their bond. As they spent time laughing, talking, and simply being together, their feelings for one another grew into something undeniable.

After high school, Kate attended Texas Tech University, while Rodrigo remained in their hometown, leading to a season of long-distance connection. Despite the miles, their bond remained strong. That October, Kate returned home for Rodrigo’s sister Raquel’s quinceañera. The celebration provided a perfect opportunity to reconnect in person, share their hopes for the future, and cherish meaningful moments together.

When Kate returned home from Texas Tech the following spring, it felt as though no time had passed between them. They quickly picked up where they left off, and on August 31, 2018, their relationship officially began. Over a meal at their favorite restaurant, Jim’s, Rodrigo asked Kate to be his girlfriend—a moment that marked the start of a beautiful six-year love story. To this day, Jim’s holds a special place in their hearts as the symbol of their beginning.

As their relationship deepened, Kate and Rodrigo spent every moment they could together, a tradition that has continued over the years. Kate transferred to Palo Alto Community College to pursue her education, joining Rodrigo there—a decision that brought them even closer. Rodrigo often drove her to and from school, cherishing every shared moment. After completing part of their degrees together, they transferred to the University of Texas at San Antonio, continuing to support one another in their academic journeys.

In 2020, their little family grew with the addition of Nash, their beloved dog. Nash quickly became their "doggie child," and his joyful greetings at the door are a highlight of their days. Whether sniffing their clothes or jumping with excitement, Nash’s presence has brought even more love into their lives.

Kate and Rodrigo are truly inseparable. They delight in life’s simple pleasures: trying new foods, exploring nature, binge-watching shows/movies, and sharing their passion for WWE. Their connection is built on a foundation of love, laughter, and unwavering support.

As they look ahead to their future together, Kate and Rodrigo are filled with excitement and hope. Two peas in a pod, they were simply made for each other, and the best chapters of their story are yet to come.
