Our Wedding

After a few dates of hiking in the Beartooth and Bridger Mountains, the duo decided they had similar hobbies. Unfortunately, Kate was still living two hours away, but as fate would have it, she accepted a teaching position in Belgrade, MT just minutes away from where Colin was living. Once in the same town the couple was inseparable. Floating the Yellowstone River, hiking the Grand Canyon and skiing at Big Sky continued to bring the couple closer. As the days turned into months, Kate and Colin decided that they wanted to invest in real estate. Again as fate would have it, the couple found a "diamond in the rough."One afternoon, Kate and Colin were replacing the white tile with luxury vinyl in the kitchen. It was dusty, back-braking work, but both were committed to the final product. Kate turned around to sweep up yet another pile of construction dust and saw Colin on his knee with a ring box. Kate was surprised and excited and said, "Yes." Colin said it was the perfect time to ask because he would not want to do home projects with anyone else.
