Cooper and Kate began dating on October 8th, 2017. They met in the athletic training room of Dunlap High School where Cooper was recovering from a shoulder surgery and Kate was shadowing the athletic trainer.

They spent a year in high school together before enduring one year of long distance while Cooper completed his senior year and Kate moved to Milwaukee, WI for her first year at Marquette. Cooper soon joined in her in Milwaukee by attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee the following year.

In the coming years, they continued to make amazing memories while making MKE their home. They explored the city, found a deep love for cheese curds, spotted cow, and beer-cheese pretzels, and adopted their wonderful cats.

Cooper proposed to Kate on June 3rd, 2023 while ziplining with both of their families. It was a beautiful day full of love, laughter, and excitement for the journey ahead.
