If you're looking for a fun night cap, Three Dots and a Dash is one of our favorite spots in town! It's an intimate tiki bar with incredibly unique cocktails and very generous pours, located in the River North area near the Sheraton.

For gorgeous views, delicious food, and tasty cocktails, go to the rooftop at London House (located just across the river from the Sheraton). It's a must-visit spot for a taste of Chicago!

Another spot for rooftop cocktails along the river is RAISED! It isn't quite as high up as London House, but it's just as lovely (and often less crowded).

You can't go wrong with a scenic stroll down the Riverwalk. The views are beautiful, and there are plenty of places to stop along the way for a drink or bite to eat. Try City Winery, Tiny Tapp, The Northman, or Sweet Home Gelato along the way.

Check out the firework shows at Navy Pier for the Fourth of July weekend, or stop by to take a ride on the ferris wheel!

Not only is The Art Institute of Chicago a gorgeous building to explore, but it also houses famous pieces like American Gothic by Grant Wood, A Sunday on La Grande Jatt by Georges Seurat, Nighthawks by Edward Hopper, The Old Guitarist by Pablo Picasso, and several self-portraits from Vincent van Gogh. If you're feeling artsy, this is one of our favorite museums in the city!

The Field Museum has a beautiful location on the lake and ample exhibits to explore. Our favorite part of the museum is Griffin Hall, where you can see the skeleton of Sue the T-Rex!

Not far from the Field Museum is the Shedd Aquarium, which Kate and Ryan love exploring. Make sure you visit during one of the live water shows where the dolphins and beluga whales perform tricks for the crowd.
