What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Our dress code is formal. Ladies should wear a cocktail or long dress, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Labor day weather is typically very enjoyable in southeastern Wisconsin. We typically have 75 degree days and 60 degree evenings. You may want a light jacket for the evening as you are leaving the reception.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

The ceremony will be at Fox River Christian Church in Waukesha, WI. The address is S46W24130 Lawnsdale Rd, Waukesha, WI 53189. The ceremony begins promptly at 2pm. Seating will begin 30 minutes before the ceremony. The reception is at Broadlands Golf Club. The address is 18 Augusta Way, North Prairie, WI 53153. The reception is from 5pm-11pm.

What do I do between the ceremony and reception?

Right after the ceremony, the bridal party and families will be taking pictures at the church and golf club for around an hour. The venues are about 20 minutes apart. If you need to check into your hotel, this would be a good time if you haven't yet. Otherwise, there is a pub at the Golf Club where guests are able to enjoy cocktails before the reception starts at 5pm.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoor or outdoors?

Both our ceremony and reception will take place indoors. Our reception does have a great green space just outside that will have a cigar bar and yard games.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get everything started as scheduled. The reception starts at 5pm and food will be served from 5-7pm.

Where should guests park for the ceremony?

As you turn into the church's parking lot, there is one larger entrance on the south side of the building and one entrance on the west side of the church that is a bit smaller. Please park on the west side of the building and come in the smaller entrance. Our chapel is inside the doors to the left.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Yes! So much food and so many drinks! There will be two rounds of heavy appetizers at both 5 and 6 pm. There will also be a kid's station with Chicken Fingers and Mac 'n Cheese. Then there will be late night pizza brought out at 9pm. We will have open bar from 5pm-10pm that will include beer, wine, liquor and champagne. Cash bar from 10pm-11pm.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

We can accommodate this for our guests. Please include a note about this in your RSVP and we will make sure there is something for you to eat!

Will transportation be provided between, to/from the hotel?

There will not be a shuttle between the venues and hotels. Please be responsible when getting back to your hotel at the end of the night. There is always Lyft and Uber if you want to overindulge.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

We ask that during the ceremony that you are fully present with us and put your phones away. We hired a professional photographer to document our day. Reception is fair game for photos. Document our day! We ask that you wait until Sunday, after the wedding, to post anything to social media. Also, please send your photos to Kate and Tyler and/or our parents to share with us!

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Feel free to reach out to Kate, Tyler, or our parents with any additional questions leading up to the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Steph - Kate's Day-Of Coordinator, will be your point of contact. She will be in a fancy, long dark green dress and will be able to answer all of your questions.
