Our Wedding

Kate and Benaiah met while swimming at Carson-Newman University. Though they had known each other for 3 years, it wasn’t until the ride home from conference—Kate’s junior year and Benaiah’s senior year—that they started really talking. His reason for waiting until the ride home was because “they weren’t teammates any more”. Just a few days later, he asked her out, and not long after, they went on their first date. On April 29, 2024, Benaiah officially asked Kate to be his girlfriend, and a year and two months later—on June 28, 2025—he proposed!! And now… here you are, reading their story on their wedding website!
