Flights are now up. Amsterdam's airport is named Shiphol and the code is AMS. Those traveling for the bachelor/ette party should try to arrive on Tuesday April 26th, those traveling just for the wedding should arrive on or before Friday April 29th. Hopper is a good app to use to track the cheapest time to buy tickets, but you should aim to purchase before September.
What hotel should I book in Amsterdam?

Note that there are a few ibis hotels in the city so ensure you book the right one by checking the address: Stationsplein 49.
Guests are also welcome to book any hotel that may better suit your travel needs! There will be a van to take guests from Ibis hotel to and from the wedding on Saturday.
How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
You can take a 20 minute train from the airport to the hotel, as the hotel is directly behind Amsterdam's centraal train station. Look for signs in the airport for the train station, and then take any train (Intercity, Sprinter or Thalys) to Amsterdam Centraal.
The local airport taxis charge a flat-rate fee of 39€ for the journey into the city centre, this will take 30 minutes without traffic. Make sure you confirm this rate with your driver before getting into the taxi - your driver will likely speak English.
How will I get from Amsterdam to the wedding?
There will be a van that will leave around noon on Saturday that will bring all guests to the Keukenhof Castle in Lisse. This same van will also bring guests back to the hotel/Amsterdam at midnight, where the party can continue! It takes about 45 minutes to get to the castle, but we will budget more time for traffic.
What should I pack?
An up to date passport*****, and comfortable shoes for the tulip walk during the wedding (note: passport updating has been a nightmare due to covid, make sure to send yours in expedited now if it expires within 6 months!)
How do I pay for things in The Netherlands?
The local Currency the euro. The current exchange rate: €1 equals $1.22, so mark everything up that you buy by about 20%. Best way to exchange? Use a debit card at any ATM, such as at the airport, to exchange when you arrive. Most bars and restaurants will take credit card - make sure you call your credit card to see if they have free foreign transaction fees.
