River House Restaurant: In the South, there’s an intimate connection between the table and the land. Our fertile soil feeds corn and cattle. The palmettos provide cover for quail and game. And the ocean provides its bounty with the incoming tide. The River House is a culinary celebration of this relationship and our professed love for the land and waters of the Lowcountry. Hush: Located at the bottom floor of the River House, Hush is a cozy setting for happy hour, a post-dinner cocktail, or a late night drink. The River House’s best kept secret! Open Wednesday – Saturday from 6pm 12am.
Buzz Coffee: A celebration for mornings! Fresh brewed coffee, handcrafted drinks, and house made pastries serve as a worthy start to the day. Buzz is located on the first floor of the River House. Open Daily from 7am – 3pm.
Fore & Aft: The ideal spot to start or conclude your day’s adventures, Fore & Aft is located alongside the lagoon waterway edge and the Inn pool and offers relaxing views. Open daily 11am – 5 pm
Canteen: The Canteen in Moreland Village is a perfect stop to pick up a cup of coffee or breakfast sandwich in the morning, and a homemade panini, wrap, salad, or snacks in the afternoon. Open daily from 9am – 3pm. Credit Card required.
Buffalos: Open for breakfast Friday – Sunday (8 am – 11 am). Open for lunch (11 am – 4 pm) and dinner (5 pm – 9 pm) Wednesday – Monday. Credit Card Required.
- Bikes: Bikes are provided complimentary as part of the resort fee. Guests staying in homes or cottages will have bikes delivered to their accommodations prior to arrival. Guests staying in the inn or guest houses can visit the recreation barn (next to the River House) or the recreation attendant behind the inn.
The Bluffton Room: Upscale dining with fresh local ingredients and fabulous cocktails. Reservations highly recommended.
The Farm: Great for seasonal southern fare. Reservation recommended.
Bricco: Our favorite for Italian! Get the Fettuccini Ale. Reservation recommended.
Local Pie: Great local pizzas in a casual atmosphere.
Agave: Awesome casual spot for taco's and margs. Kate's favorite is the black bean taco!
The Pearl: Inspired costal cuisine.
The Cottage: A must go for brunch. You will not leave hungry. The benedict and mimosas are next level.
Nectar: Another great spot for brunch or lunch!

Burnt Church Distillery: Cool spot to go for a cocktail and a small bite. They also do tours!
Lot 9 Brewing: Great local brewery and they have food trucks most evenings.
Captain Woody's: Hang with the locals at night on the rooftop bar and listen to live music.
Old Town Dispensary: Go for a burger and a beer, stay for the live music at night!
Explore Old Town Bluffton- Park in Old Town Bluffton and you will find great local shops, restaurants and art galleries. Stroll down to the May River for the best views of the low country.
Golfing- Old South Golf Links, Hilton Head National are a couple of Jeff's local favorites.
Water Activities-Outside Hilton Head company offers everything from kayaking to fishing to dolphin tours.
Dafuskie Island- A hidden gem of an island only accessible by boat. An all day activity where you can rent a golf cart and explore the island.
Hilton Head Island- If you have time or are looking to extend your trip, HHI is a must visit. Our favorite places are Shelter Cove Marina, Harbor Town(home of the famous red and white light house), and South Beach (home of the Salty Dog! Get a t-shirt!).
Savannah- Savannah is a short 35 minute drive from Bluffton. Make a day trip out of it to explore this charming southern city draped in Spanish Moss and history.
