Our Wedding

Kate and Sean met as teenagers first semester freshman year of college at Auburn University in the fall of 2019. Apart of the same friend group, they quickly became close friends.

On October 3rd, 2020, Kate and Sean went to Athens for the Auburn-UGA football game. Sean told Kate he liked her!

On Halloween night at midnight (November 1st, 2020) and on Samford lawn, Sean asked Kate to be his girlfriend. She said yes!

From football games to sorority date nights and every moment in between, Kate and Sean were together.

Then came graduation!

They moved to Atlanta and got their first apartment together in June, 2023!

During a trip to Japan and on October 31st, 2024, Sean proposed to Kate. (Spoiler: She said yes!). That night they hit the streets of Shibuya in costume!

Kate and Madi have known each other since birth (sisters)! Madi lives in Delaware, but Kate hopes she will move back to Georgia soon! Fun fact: On the Christmas of 2007, Kate and Madi received the best gift ever—two little dachshunds! This moment made them fourth generation dachshund owners on their mom’s side!

Madi Strickland

Madeleine and Kate have been besties since the middle school and met through dance classes. They used to (still do) love Teen Wolf and American Horror Story, and they called their friend group the wolf pack. They used to sneak into R rated horror movies together before they were 17. Madeleine is a 10/10 friend, highly recommend. Fun Fact: They once rode the Ripshaw Falls ride (RIP) at Universal 10 times in a row together!

Kate and Marissa met freshman year of high school in PE class. From physics to AP Environmental science, they always had a hilarious time when they were together and inevitably always got in trouble for talking and laughing. Fun fact: Kate and Sean had their first kiss at Marissa’s apartment sophomore year of college!

Marissa

Kate and Colleen have known each other since they were babies and became close friends. They went to the same elementary, middle, and high school, as well as the same dance studio! Fun fact: Kate was a bridesmaid in Colleen’s wedding two years ago in Kansas!

Colleen Daily

Emma met Kate on bid day freshman year of college. They were roommates for three years and have shared endless laughs and silly times together! Fun fact: when they went together to drop off their first pair of foster kittens at the Auburn Humane Society, Emma cried like a baby ❤️

Rachel and Kate met on bid day Freshman year of college too! They were roommates for three years and shared a bathroom for one year! Rachel is a kind, loyal friend and funny gal! Fun fact: they stormed the field together when Auburn won the Iron bowl in 2019!

The Doctor. Sean met Jacob in CHEM1 freshman fall.

Fellow MechE. Sean met Alex in CHEM1 LAB freshman fall.

Fellow MechE. Sean and Landon bonded over the love of the game.

The accountant. Sean grew up with Max in Huntsville, countless games of fifa played.
