Kate and Idrees first crossed paths in secondary school. Same year, same corridors, same awkward assemblies. They weren’t close — in fact, they barely spoke — but, quietly and unknowingly, they both had a bit of a crush on each other. Neither of them ever said a word. Timing, as it turns out, wasn’t quite on their side just yet.

Years passed, school ended, and they went their separate ways.

Then in 2018, out of the blue, Idrees sent Kate a message. It was simple and unexpected — but it sparked something that had been waiting in the background all along. One message became many, and not long after, they met for a coffee date (Idrees had coffee, Kate didn’t). The connection was instant — comfortable, familiar, and full of possibility.

Since that day, their story has grown into one of love, laughter, patience, and shared joy.

Now, years later, they’re building a life together — one full of memories, meaning, and everything they always hoped to find in each other.
