How We Met

We met like most modern day love, online. We bonded over the fact we both love chicken nuggets and pizza. On our first time meeting we hung out at Connor's house and watched New Girl. He leaned over and asked why I was not laughing??? I had to break the news and say, "I need the captions". I also remember Connor was so nervous and he was wearing blue jeans. If you know Connor you know he does not like to wear them often. At one point I did see his butt crack when he went to sit down. I guess you can say it was love at first crack.

Mattie has been Kate’s best friend since they were in 4th grade. (They would have been friends since kindergarten but Mattie did not like her hahahaa) Mattie has been with Kate through life’s toughest times and has always been a blessing in her life. It is so crazy to think we both were born roughly 9 years after our siblings and would go to the same school. I know I can always count on her and I am so excited to have her by my side on my wedding day.

Jamie has always been someone Kate can lean on for a good laugh and a moral compass. Jamie has been Kate’s best friend since the 4th grade. Jamie has always been a balanced person when she comes to giving advice to the bride. Jamie and Kate have performed lots of dances and made crazy videos for entertainment. Jamie has such a pure heart and always has Kate’s back. She is an incredible person and I am over the moon grateful to have her by my side on my wedding day!

Madeline has always been a sweet and caring best friend to Kate. They met at a birthday dinner for one of the groomsmen. Fast forward a few weeks, Madeline and Kate sat near each other in a class at Wingate and talked multiple times before realizing they had met at that dinner. From that day forward the two became great friends. Madeline has the best personality, she is calm and very go with the flow. No matter where life takes us, I know our friendship will always remain strong, and I’m so glad you’ll be part of this journey. From all the laughs and adventures we’ve had, I know this day will be another amazing memory we share. You’ve always been a great friend and a role model for me. Having you stand with me on my wedding day is truly special.
