It all started in April 2021 when Katelin woke up to a message from cole. Though they had known of each other in high school—Katelin at Red River and Cole at Central—their paths had never truly crossed until college. At the time, Cole was playing hockey in Minnesota while Katelin was finishing her sophomore year of college.


With each date, they quickly realized how well they complemented each other. Katelin and Cole took a significant step in their relationship by getting a puppy named Nala. Caring for their new fur baby brought them even closer together, and they discovered how great of a team they made. Their connection deepened, filled with laughter, late-night talks, playful moments with Nala, and countless adventures together.


It became clear that they were meant for each other. On September 13, 2024, the day before Katelins birthday, Cole decided to pop the question. Surrounded by family and friends, he asked her to marry him, turning her birthday celebration into a memorable moment.


The couple celebrated their engagement all weekend, reveling in the joy of their commitment. Now, they are excited to carry on their lucky number 13 with their wedding set for June 13, 2025!
