The best way to describe Katie and Justin's love story is sweet and inevitable. They met through mutual friends, and there was an instant connection. While their relationship started with casual and friendly conversation, they quickly bonded over their common interests and sense of humor, especially their sense of humor. It was easy for everyone around to see that they were becoming more than friends.

They met early on during the pandemic and were able to spend lots of quality time together during quarantine. As time went on, it was easy to see their personalities were a perfect compliment. Katie and Justin have so much fun together with everything they do.

They adopted their first cat, Jazzy, and Katie seamlessly became a mother figure to Justin's leopard gecko, Tezla. The pairs relationship continued to grow, and it again became obvious to all around that Katie and Justin would be together for the long haul.

Justin proposed to Katie in a lush, green vineyard on a trip to Louisiana after months of nervous planning. It was an easy "yes" from Katie followed by, "It's about time!" from friends and family. They recently moved into a lovely townhome in Morgantown, WV, which is totally ruled by Jazzy and Tesla. The rest is history.
