Ah, 2020. The year that started with normal dating app swiping and ended with, well, a whole new world. It was on Bumble, somewhere around January, that we both swiped right and had our first date at Arlington Rooftop. We continued talking and Katelyn was impressed with Carl's well-planned dates and consistency. Carl liked Katelyn's banter and how easy-going she was. Then, the pandemic hit. Everything went virtual, and our "dates" became video calls instead. We found connection and laughter even when the world was isolating. We decided to make it official in June 2020 and the rest is history!
