We are closely monitoring the situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19) in NC. Presently, there are no confirmed cases in Nash County, where the wedding is to take place. At this time, we are still planning to move forward with the wedding as planned, but that may change pending any updates on policy from the venue or state government.
Our priority is the safety and health of our family & friends. We understand that the evolving situation is concerning for many, especially those who may have to travel to attend - if you are not comfortable attending, but have already RSVP'd, please contact us directly so we can update our vendors.
As wedding day draws closer, we would ask that any guests who are experiencing symptoms of coronavirus or respiratory infection, or have knowingly been exposed to an individual who has tested positive for the coronavirus, to kindly stay home in order to prevent the exposure to our guests and certain family members who are a higher risk for severe reactions.
We'll keep you posted.

Hi everyone! Katelyn, here - let's be honest, Tyler Hill did not sit down and make a wedding website. :)
Tyler and I met in college at NC State University (go Pack) around my Senior year in 2011 when I moved into the apartment across the hall from some of his groomsmen. Throughout the end of college, and for a few years after, we continued to run into each other in our shared friends group through football games and weekends at the lake. The summer of 2017 saw us spending more time together and, after several months of being entirely oblivious to what was going on, I started to put the pieces together and we began dating that October.
In June 2019, I left for a business trip to China for 8 days. It was the furthest I'd ever been from home and also the longest time we'd spent apart in a year and a half. I was super homesick the entire time, so getting back home was already something I looked forward to the entire week.
When I touched down in Raleigh, I found Tyler waiting for me at the gate. He helped me collect my bags and we headed for the truck. From the top of the deck there was a gorgeous sunset over Raleigh with a rainbow over the clouds from a storm that had passed through just before I landed. When we approached the truck, I asked if Shelby, the dog, was with him - he wasn't, but Tyler mentioned he did 'pick up' something this week he thought I might like. While I looked in the bed of the truck for what I assumed would be new gear for the lake, Tyler was reaching in his pocket and getting down on one knee with a grin.
I have no idea what came after that. I'm pretty sure I just blanked entirely at that point (in my defense I'd just spent 28 hours on a plane / in an airport trying to get home)! Tyler then surprised me with dinner reservations at the same restaurant we went to on the weekend we started dating. <3
We're so excited for this season of life and to have all of our friends and family be a part of our special day. We both feel especially blessed with the support we've been given from our friends who have played a big part in bringing us together and for the examples of love set by our parents that we aspire to uphold in the life we're creating together.
We can't wait to celebrate with you!
