The story of the Fox and the Crow starts on a weary journey. The crow is resting on the fox's back as the fox takes them further in their endeavor. Out of the silence, the crow says, "I'm so sorry". The fox stops to rest and responds, "For what?". "I don't feel well so you're carrying me and I feel guilty. I can't carry you so it feels unfair". In a sigh the fox exclaims, "Although it is true that you cannot carry me, I would never ask you to do more than you can and harm yourself to make it fair. I can't fly and yet when I am tired, you bring me treats from high branches. I cannot build nests, so you are the one who fills our pillows with fallen leaves. So when I rest my head upon it, does it feel unfair?". Solemnly the crow looks down, "No.., I guess not". The fox smiles, "This is our journey, we walk as companions".


From a low point in both of our lives we found the best thing to ever happen to each other: Each other! Back in 2021 where we both worked night jobs and lived in our own little worlds; we caught wind of each other and became fast friends. After many late night adventures and denying our crushes on each other by the midnight moon, we became inseparable. Now after nearly 3 years of happy living, we are starting our beginning of forever! Derrick as the fox and Katelyn as the crow, walking this journey of life as companions.
