Kyle and Katelyn’s story began the summer of 2013 at St. Micheal’s church camp. After four years of being neighbors and friends, they finally started dating in 2017!

While together in high school, they enjoyed many football games, bonfires, and school dances. Even though they didn’t stay together through the remainder of their high school years, they always managed to stay good friends. In 2019, they both graduated high school and went their separate ways. Kyle headed to College Station to study Construction Science at Texas A&M University, while Katelyn made her way to Lubbock to pursue her passion for nursing at Texas Tech University.

In 2020, when the pandemic hit, Katelyn decided to move back home to Lake Jackson and start nursing school at UTMB Galveston in the fall of 2021. While she was at home, life found a way to bring Kyle and Katelyn back together! Despite being in a long distance relationship throughout college, they were still able to create lots of fun memories together. They enjoyed many hiking adventures, relaxing beach days, sunsets on Bryan Lake, and nights out on the town with friends.

After graduating with her BSN in 2022, Katelyn became a Registered Nurse and started her dream job at the Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston in 2023! Later that same year, Kyle graduated from A&M and started his career as a Project Engineer for McCarthy Construction!

On the weekend of July 8th, Kyle and Katelyn planned to celebrate their three year anniversary in Huntsville, Texas. To Katelyn’s surprise, Kyle proposed to her at the local 1836 Steakhouse! They wined and dined, and ended that amazing night at a concert in the park.

Now, they are living in Savannah, Georgia where Kyle has lots of opportunities to further his career in Marine Construction! They are beyond excited to celebrate with you, and are looking forward to starting the next chapter of their lives together as Mr. & Mrs. Armstrong!
