Our story began in Nov. 2020 through mutual friends. Katelyn courageously struck up a conversation with Ryan. He was wowed with her knowledge for golf and her energy that lit up the room. Fast forward to spring 2021, we met again playing sand volleyball together in a bar league. After a few victory beers, Katelyn asked Ryan to come out with her friends that weekend. One Saturday night later at Hosed on Brady, the rest is history!

Over the last four years, we have spent lots of time exploring Milwaukee together. Trying new restaurants, going to EVERY Marquette basketball game (Ryan has successfully converted Katelyn to a full on fan), continuing our sand volleyball success, and spending time together on the golf course have been staples of our relationship.

Ryan popped the question to Katelyn in front of the Milwaukee Art Museum on a beautiful August afternoon. That night, Ryan planned a great surprise celebration with close friends and family at the spot where we had our first date.

We are so thrilled to have such wonderful family and friends to celebrate with us! We cannot wait to see you all in Milwaukee on December 13 (pray for no blizzards!).
