<p>Kate and Kyle first met while working at the hospital together in 2013-2014. Kyle was working in the OR while Kate was working in the ER. Kyle would make his way to the ER from time to time doing unnecessary tasks to see Kate, to which she had no idea what he was really doing. It wasn't until 2016 Kyle asked Kate out. Their first date was to Moxie followed by a drink at Social and finished with of course some time spent at JT's. Kate was in nursing school at the time while Kyle worked for the fire department. Life took some sharp turns and they ended up breaking up. Fast forward to April of 2020 Kate was now a nurse in the ER and Kyle happened to come in on shift one night. The conversations once again began and quickly escalated to spending every day together even in the middle of a crazy pandemic. Fast forward to December 2023... Kyle had been telling Kate for weeks about a coyote that was caught on the trail cams where they hunt. Kate of course being the person she is had a million questions because things just didn't make sense. Why was there only one, what color was it, how big was it, when was it seen on the cam, ect. The morning of December 21, 2023, Kyle got home from shift and said come on we gotta go to my parents- the coyote is up there. Kate really did not want to go. Kyle was bringing a backpack with him so on the ride up again the questions started. Where is the coyote, why do you have a backpack, what's in the backpack, ect. They get to the pond and Kate started making her way from the truck not realizing Kyle was behind her a bit, she turned around to see what he was doing and he was down on one knee asking her to marry him. The rest is history!</p>
