Gifts

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, we would be so grateful for a small contribution to our honeymoon fund. You can also view our curated registry by visiting the “Registry” tab. Thank you for your love and support!

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Both will be held onsite at Derick's parents (30120 Sunset Trail Cannon Falls, MN). They will take place outdoors, under a tent, in a spacious grass area. Upon arrival, please follow the signs down the driveway.

When should I RSVP by?

We encourage everyone to RSVP as soon as possible, no need to wait for the formal invite. Please RSVP on this website though no later then August 15,2026 . If we do not receive a response from you by then, we will assume that you are unable to attend , and your presence will be greatly missed.

What time should guests arrive?

We kindly ask that our guests arrive at 3:30pm to be seated at 3:45pm, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM.

Will there be parking?

Parking is available along both sides of the gravel road just outside the driveway. You’re welcome to pull in briefly to drop off any items before returning to park along the road. A golf cart also will be making rounds between the parking area and the wedding, so feel free to hop on for a ride. Need to leave your car overnight? No problem!

What should I wear?

Please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, while keeping the weather in mind — all events will be outdoors or under a tent. The overall dress code is dressy casual, which means polished but relaxed. Think nice jeans with a dress shirt or blouse, casual dresses, skirts, or slacks with a nice top. You’re also more than welcome to dress up and celebrate with us! The venue is set on grass, and you may need to walk through gravel, grass, or dirt between areas, so we recommend choosing footwear accordingly. We kindly ask that you avoid wearing white, ivory, or other shades traditionally reserved for the bride. Feel free to bring a blanket or sweatshirt for later in the evening when the temperature cools down. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! 🤍

Are children welcome?

Children are welcome, though we’ve kept the guest list to family only. If your children are invited, the invitation will be addressed to your family by "The "Last Name" Family". We kindly ask that during key moments like the ceremony and dances, you respect the ambiance by keeping your little ones seated. If you need to step away with your children during these moments, we completely understand. Afterward, feel free to let them enjoy the celebration and have fun! Please note that while the event is family-friendly, some of the music may not always be suited for young ears.

Where should I stay?

Please look at our travel page to explore accommodation options that best suite your need. The bride and groom will be staying on the property in a tent and warmly invite you to bring your own tent and join them for a unique experience.

If I plan to stay in a tent, when should I set it up?

If you plan to stay in a tent on the property, you’re welcome to arrive around 3:00 PM to set up ahead of time so everything is ready before the festivities begin. We recommend doing a trial setup at home beforehand to ensure you’re familiar with your tent and can assemble it quickly and easily on the wedding day. Signs will guide you to the designated tenting areas. You’re welcome to tent along the wooded trails for a more secluded setting away from the event, or set up closer to the yard if you’d prefer to be nearby. Feel free to pull your car into the driveway to unload your belongings before parking and getting settled. The restroom trailer will be available throughout the night for your convenience if you’re tenting on-site.

Will there be alcohol?

We’ll have an open bar tap truck serving beer and seltzers throughout the evening — available all night while supplies last. You’re welcome to bring your own beverages to enjoy as well. To keep things organized, we’ll have a designated area for personal coolers so they stay out of the way of photos and activities. Cheers — we can’t wait to celebrate together! 🍻

Can I take pictures?

We kindly ask that you keep all devices tucked away during the ceremony, as our talented photographer will be capturing every special moment. Don’t worry—we’ll be sure to share the photos with you afterward! Once the ceremony is over, feel free to snap as many pictures as you’d like throughout the evening. We’d love it if you text your photos to the bride and groom so they can enjoy reliving the memories the next morning.

Can I bring a plus one?

We're keeping our wedding small and intimate. If you're invited with a plus one, it will be indicated on your invitation.

Will there be transportation?

There will not be transportation provided from the reception to hotels. If you plan on drinking, we kindly ask you to arrange a sober ride. Alternatively, you're welcome to stay on the property in a tent, if you'd prefer. We will have one extra tent set up in case anyone changes their mind.

What food will be available?

We’re excited to have The Sizzling Wagon Food Truck joining us! They’ll be serving up tasty beef brisket sandwiches, bacon cheeseburgers, veggie burgers, and chicken tenders, all with a side of fries. When it’s your turn, just head up to the truck, tell them what you’d like, and customize your burger however you want. They’ll cook it up fresh for you right there — then you can bring your food back to the tent and dig in! Our DJ will be calling table numbers when it’s time to eat, so feel free to walk around, mingle, and enjoy the music, but keep an ear out for when your table gets called. For those eating a little later, we’ll have some cocktail hour appetizers available so you can snack and enjoy while you wait!

What happens if it rains?

Rain or shine, the ceremony is still happening outdoors! Grab an umbrella, dance in the rain (it’s good luck, right?), and let’s make some amazing memories. Everything else will be nice and dry under the tent!

Any other questions feel free to text Derick or Katelyn.
