Malachi and Katelyn’s love story began in 2022 at Bethany Lutheran College, where a shared love for sports brought them together. Bonding over their mutual passion for baseball and softball—and even more so over the coincidence of wearing the same jersey number—an instant connection formed between them. That small detail quickly turned into long conversations, laughter, and a growing friendship that felt effortless and real. Over the next year, their bond deepened as they became best friends supporting one another through every win and challenge both on and off the field. Before long, it was clear that what started as friendship had blossomed into a once-in-a-lifetime love.
