✈️ Getting to Cañon City by air:

Colorado Springs Airport (COS): The closest major airport, about 1 hour from Cañon City. It’s small, easy to navigate, and has nonstop flights from Kansas City (Southwest and Frontier often fly this route). Denver International Airport (DEN): A larger airport with more flight options, about 2.5 hours from Cañon City. Denver can be a good choice if you’re looking for more airlines or flexible schedules.

🚗 Getting to Cañon City by car:

Driving from Kansas City takes about 9–10 hours (650 miles). It’s an easy route across Kansas into Colorado if you prefer a road trip. From Colorado Springs, Cañon City is an easy 1-hour drive southwest via Highway 115. From Denver, plan for about 2.5 hours. Tip: Renting a car is recommended, since rideshares and public transportation are limited in Cañon City. Plus, it makes it easy to explore the Royal Gorge and surrounding areas during your stay!

July in Cañon City brings warm, summery days with highs generally between 85-90 °F and refreshing evenings around 55-60 °F. 👗 What should i wear?

Our dress code is semi-formal, but relaxed—Colorado style! Wear something you’ll feel great dancing and celebrating in. Sundresses, jumpsuits, or nice pants are perfect, and guys, slacks with a button-down work just fine (ties and jackets are totally optional). Expect sunshine, mountain breezes, and cooler evenings, so a light jacket or shawl is a smart addition.
