Katelyn & Logan met in Auburn in December of 2019. Katelyn traveled from Tuscaloosa with her sorority sisters after finals to spend a night out on the town with her cousin, Kalem. Kalem's fraternity brother, Chase, invited his friend from the Auburn Bass Fishing Team to the pregame. Katelyn jokes that Logan followed her around the entire night and has been chasing her ever since.

Soon after meeting, the couple had their first date at the Smith Mountain Fire Tower followed by dinner at Venditori's.

During the peak of COVID-19, Katelyn spent most days in Auburn quarantined with Logan. When the summer of 2020 ended, Katelyn returned to Tuscaloosa, but she found that things were just not the same. In the spring of 2021, Katelyn enrolled at Auburn University. The couple enjoyed many Chi Omega and Theta Chi date parties, along with numerous fishing team gatherings.

Logan graduated from Auburn in December of 2021, and Katelyn graduated soon after in August of 2022.

The couple bought their first home in November of 2021.

Katelyn's one request was a chicken coop, and now the couple has five hens, all named after country music stars. Bocephus (Bo) is loving life on Canary Drive with his little sister, Aubie, the kitten.

Logan popped the question on November 21, 2022 at the top of the Smith Mountain Fire Tower, where the couple shared their first date three years prior.

This date already held special meaning to Logan and Katelyn. It marked the one year anniversary of Logan and groomsman Tucker winning the Bass Pro Shops U.S. Open, better known as the "Million Dollar Tournament."

Logan completely surprised Katelyn by telling her they had to take some fishing gear to a friend at the lake. The couple had plans to go furniture shopping afterward, so Katelyn was in a rush on the entire hike up to the fire tower. She actually sprinted up the tower, leaving Logan winded once he made it to the top. Logan had his childhood bestfriend, Lucas and his fiancé, Sarah, waiting on the trail to capture the special moment. (Lucas & Sarah got engaged the day before.) Katelyn spotted the drone seconds before she turned to find Logan dropping to one knee.

The newly engaged couple returned to Logan's parents' house to a celebration with their families and Katelyn's best friend and maid of honor, Harli. They sipped bubbles and concluded the evening with a dinner at Ariccia Cucina. During the course of the evening, Katelyn and Logan facetimed countless friends and family members; however, one phone call was especially important to the couple. Katelyn's engagement ring is an heirloom, once belonging to Logan's Nana who has since passed. The couple rejoiced with Nana over the phone. Thankfully, Harli videoed the exchange, so the couple can cherish the sweet conversation forever.

On October 14, 2023, the couple celebrated at the Harris Chain of Lakes when Logan qualified for the Bassmaster Elite Series. In 2024, Logan and Katelyn will travel across the country as Logan competes in his rookie season on the Elites.
