Our story begins at North Dakota State University, where fate brought us together in the most unexpected way. It all started with a simple “Get to Know Me” survey for new students. Little did I know, that survey would set the stage for the most important connection of my life. Being assigned to the same NDSU welcome group, Brandon felt compelled to reach out. From that moment, our journey began.

We started hanging out, discovering shared interests, and building a connection that felt effortless. Before long, Brandon’s friends and roommates were already calling me his girlfriend—jumping ahead of us! That playful teasing gave us the nudge we needed to make things official on September 6, 2020, a day we now hold close to our hearts.

Through our college years, we grew not only as individuals but as a couple. We supported each other, met each other’s families, and created countless memories. After I graduated in December 2023, we embarked on a dream trip to Europe, exploring the magic of London, the romance of Paris, and the timeless beauty of Florence. It was there, at Piazzale Michelangelo, overlooking the stunning Tuscan skyline on December 30, 2023, that Brandon got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever. In that moment, surrounded by the breathtaking view of Florence, I said “Yes,” and our love story took its next beautiful step.

Since returning from that unforgettable trip, we’ve been busy building our life together—literally. We moved into our first home and dove headfirst into wedding planning. This chapter of our story is one of joy, excitement, and anticipation, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to share it with all of you.
