“I take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover”

A magical night! We wanted to get Taylor Swift tickets for a long time to the Vancouver shows but it just didn't seem like it was in the cards for us. Fortunately, our friend Janelle told us there might be a way through twitter and Ticketmaster but it is still not easy to get. With some miracle, Andrew got tickets to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour the night before the sold out show. He was planning to propose in Mexico but this just seemed like the perfect day. He called his step father Chris to help get the ring out but it just didn't happen. Colin told Andrew that you don't need a ring to propose. The day of the proposal, Andrew with the help from my sister, Jaclyn went on a shopping spree to get a stand in ring and items to make a friendship bracelet. They went to Claire's and got a stand in ring for the day. They also went to Michael's looking for beads to make a friendship bracelet. All the beads were all sold out! So they came up with a brilliant game plan to take two "Merry Christmas" bracelets and mash them together to create the end product of "Marry Me" at the self checkout counter. I find that to be more perfect than actually finding the beads.

At the concert, during our song "Lover", Andrew said "I have something for you" and pulled out the friendship bracelet. He put it on my wrist and while I was reading it, Andrew got down on one knee with the stand in ring. I said yes with a bunch of Swifties surrounding us and taking videos.
