Katelyn and I met online, and after a couple weeks of getting to know each other and telling awful jokes, we decided to go on a date in the beginning of September 2020. While the date started off as awkward as all first dates do, we soon felt very at-ease and comfortable with each other. We talked for hours about some non-sense with my car and Disney movies, and I knew immediately that I wanted to go on a second date.

A month or so later and not only did we feel even more comfortable with each other, we both started to feel as though we couldn't live without the other one, and so we became "official" just after my birthday in October of 2020.

I fell in love pretty quick after that, and finally got Katelyn to admit that she too was in love during a trip to the beach in December. After that, things snowballed pretty quickly, we moved in together that July and knew that we wanted to get married. It took me a while to both save up for an engagemnt ring and to build up the courage to ask her, but as you the reader know from the fact that this website exists, I finally asked the love of my life to marry me during a weekend trip to Savannah GA in March 2023.

While it didn't go off without a hitch, she was mad that I packed a dress she didn't like and so she didn't dry her hair completely, I was able to surprise her while she thought we were on our way to a fancy dinner. Well, somewhat surprise because as soon as she saw our photographer trying to take sneaky photos of us, she giggled to herself and called me a moron. Thankfully the tears started flowing as soon as I dropped to a knee, and we were able to get some beautiful photos of her incredible looking dress and amazing hair.
