Our Wedding

Katelyn and Tate officially met in 2019 when their parents brought them to the University Park Village shopping center. They didn’t think much of it, as they were both on their way to college at Stephen F. Austin State University. They didn’t see each other again until the night of January 9th, 2021 when Tate’s childhood friend, Ally, offered to call him to ask if he could be the designated driver for some of their sorority sisters. Shortly after that, Tate asked Katelyn to dinner and the rest was history. They were very blessed to be able to travel to Africa in June, 2023 where Tate proposed by asking Katelyn to marry him. Spoiler alert, she said yes! March 16, 2021 was their official first day as a couple, and they will be married and celebrating their honeymoon exactly three years later in St. Lucia.

The reception will be held at this property. There is a 3-night minimum at this hotel/resort. Resort fees and cleaning fee is not included in the room rate. Jolyn can give you a cost including all fees. A $500 deposit is due at the time of booking your condo, the remainder is due 2 weeks before your check-in date.You are allowed a one-time change no later than 3 weeks out from your check-in date. So if you book a 2/2 and want to change to a 3/3, this is still based on availability but they will allow the change to your reservation.
