Our story begins in the fifth grade when I started at a new school and made lots of new friends. Little did I know one of those new found friends would later become my husband.

Our friendship continued through middle and high school where we began spending more time together. We began doing things like getting ice cream together after football and soccer or being each others date for the semi formal. After high school ended our friendship continued to grow and slowly we realized we both were interested in becoming more.

Shortly after making things official we moved into our first apartment together which we called home for 5 years. We lived there while Sam pursued his degree in Surveying Engineering and I became a licensed Cosmetologist. Our family then grew by four paws when we adopted our dog Olive. Life quickly became full of walks, hikes and trips to the beach.

In October of 2022 we bought our first home in Glenburn, ME. With our new home and a big back yard for Olive there was only one thing left to do...

On June 10th 2023 we were celebrating or 5th anniversary when Samuel asked if I wanted to take the dog to the beach. This being a usual occurrence I thought nothing of it and off we went to Sandy Point Beach. Little did I know Sam had spent the morning with his sister Emma setting up the perfect proposal. After meeting up with my mother to ask for her blessing, Sam was ready to propose. That afternoon on the beach that had become so special to us, Sam asked me to be his wife. It was then that I looked down to see a familiar ring on my finger. Sam had given me the ring my father had given to my mother before his passing.

After calling everyone we know to share the exciting news we enjoyed a beautiful dinner and champagne to celebrate!
