Katie and Brandon met online and went on their first date in early April of 2024. Sparks flew right away… but things got a little confusing soon after. When Katie got sick and had to cancel their second date, she thought she had said she wanted to reschedule. Unfortunately, that part never quite landed. Poor Brandon was left thinking she was gently trying to call things off, while Katie had absolutely no idea anything was wrong.Luckily, the universe stepped in and cleared things up. They officially started dating on May 25, 2024, and from there, things quickly fell into place. What started as a simple connection turned into countless laughs, meaningful moments, and a partnership that just felt right.In July of 2025, the two took a vacation to Iowa, where Brandon had a very important plan. On July 5th, at the Des Moines Botanical Gardens, he popped the question in a beautiful setting Katie will never forget (and she said yes!). Now, they’re thrilled to celebrate their love and begin the next chapter of their story surrounded by family and friends.
