Noah's perspective: The first time I recall seeing Katelynn, "KJ" was during the spring of 2021. KJ was shooting hoops with one of her coaches in the Brick Breeden Field House and I was on the other side attempting to shoot with one of my buddies. I noticed her but didn't make eye-contact and continued dunking and what not. Fast forward to that summer, I saw her again but this time in Walmart. She was with her sister and 2 other girls. After seeing her again, I decided to reach out on instagram. She liked a couple of my photos and then we instantly started messaging back and forth. Fast forward 2 1/2 years and now we are engaged! I can't wait to marry her and spend the rest of our lives together!

Katelynn's (KJ) Perspective: It was a very warm July summer afternoon and I was relaxing while trying to stay cool inside our non- AC house. I was scrolling on my phone and saw a friend request from a guy named Noah pop up. I clicked on the request and saw that this guy had a cute profile pick so I requested to follow him back. I noticed that he was on the MSU track team and then proceeded to like a couple of his high jump photos. Soon after I received a message from him. He seemed sweet and I felt this urge to respond. After the initial response, I continued to message him for the next couple of hours. We talked consistently for the next couple of weeks and I knew he was special. Fast forward a couple months, we started dating and one random day Noah brought up that he saw me in the gym shooting hoops and that he also saw me in Walmart before he had reached out to me on Instagram. I recalled that I did see a couple guys shooting in the gym but was too shy/scared to make conversation, especially with my coach being there. He also mentioned that he saw me in Walmart and was just now telling me all of this because he didn't want me to think he was a stalker, lol. I was initially surprised because I didn't know that both of those times it was him. Looking back on it, we laugh because we know it was God's timing of bringing us together. I am so thankful for the past 2 1/2 years and for our countless memories we have made! August 3rd can't come fast enough!
