Our Wedding

Tyler and Katie’s journey began years before they ever realized they were meant to be together. The connection was first made through Katie’s sister-in-law, Lauren, who happens to be best friends with Tyler’s sister, Leslie. Back then, their paths crossed briefly, with Katie just 12 years old and Tyler heading off to prom with one of Lauren’s friends. At the time, neither of them gave it much thought.Fast forward a few years, and at 19 and 23, they reconnected. The spark was undeniable, even if neither of them realized it at first! Their true connection began during a 4th of July trip to Lake Shasta, where they spent time together at the cabin. Despite both thinking the other wasn’t interested, it became clear that they were drawn to each other in a way neither could ignore. And after that jump off the bridge (literally!), there was no turning back.In the months that followed, Tyler and Katie spent more and more time together, and as they shared both the highs and lows of life, they grew closer. Through the good times and bad, they learned what it meant to truly care for one another—and in doing so, they realized they were in this for the long haul.Along the way, their two loyal dogs, Ruger and Remi, have been by their side, adding even more joy and love to their journey. Together, they’ve created a life full of laughter, adventure, and devotion—and they can’t wait to continue this journey with each other and their fur babies by their side!
