Our Wedding

Hello! As stated a few times we would like to dedicate an announcement to the dry wedding rule. As per the venue, alcohol and drugs can not and will not be permitted. Pre-gaming the wedding will also not be tolerated, anyone suspected of being under the influence will be asked to leave. There are no exceptions to this rule, period.

We would also like to post a disclaimer to the guests about behavior at the wedding as well. This is a wedding, as such inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Any guest behaving in an inappropriate or aggressive manner towards another guest will be asked to leave.

Our Story

Big Dans BBQ will be catering our wedding! Food will be served buffet style. We will have 3 types of meat, pulled pork, pulled chicken, and pulled brisket. Sides consist of mac and cheese, cornbread, and potato salad. Rolls will also be served as well! You can find more information about them at their website https://bigdansbbq.com/ Please be sure to alert Katelynn or Raymond of any food restrictions so that we can alert the caterer to avoid cross-contamination or if alternate food needs to be provided

I met Sophia in 6th grade history class, we worked together on a company for JA bizztown, she was the CEO and I was CFO. In that moment, we clicked almost instantly and became inseparable. She has been one of my best friends for over a decade, even when I moved states, we never let the distance come between our friendship. Sophia is a ray of sunshine and love, and she is a gorgeous soul. She is a sister to me, and I couldn't have found a better friend or maid of honor.  - Katie

I have known Maria since 6th grade, we met by being introduced by another friend at the time, and we have been together since, even me moving states couldn't come between us. She is one of the most sweetest and kindest people I have ever known, and I wouldn't trade our friendship for all the money in the world. She is beautiful inside and out, and is a ray of light and peace in every room she enters. She is a sister to me, and I am truly blessed to have her in my wedding party

What Guys Need to Know About Dress Codes

We ask that all guests that are attending stick to cocktail attire for the ceremony and reception! Our wedding theme is enchanted forest, with fall undertones. For those that prefer feminine clothing, we ask you wear nice dresses preferably knee length and longer or a classy pants suit, don't be afraid of glam, let your sparkle shine. For those that prefer masculine clothing, we ask you wear a nice dress shirt, dress pants or dark colored khakis, and a tie if that's your jam! Please refrain from overly casual clothes (jeans, sweatpants, t-shirts, sneakers, etc), keep it classy and comfy.We also would like guests to try and dress within our color scheme of the wedding. Greens, pinks, purples, reds, oranges, browns/tan, and yellows. if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out!

Dress Code

We ask that guests try to come dressed in colors that are within our color scheme. Our theme is enchanted forest, fall edition, so our color scheme is as follows: RedsBrownsOrangesYellowsPurplesPinksGreensGoldSilver The wedding parties will be wearing white, burgundy, sage green, and cream. Please refrain from wearing clothing in these colors We understand that buying new clothes just for a wedding can be a hassle, we will not be upset if you dress in colors not in the scheme. The only colors that are off limits are the ones listed as the wedding party colors
