Katerina and Kosta met on a blind double date after doing a favor for their two friends. Katerina’s friend’s parents were strict and so she had to accompany her friend and her boyfriend on their date. Since she did not want to be a third wheel the boyfriend brought one of his friends. Katerina made it clear she was not looking for anything mainly because she was an awkward 16 year old. All they managed to exchange on this date was a “hi” and “bye”.

Who knew 2 years later they would run into each other at Katerina’s cousins Christmas party. Katerina recognized him and after a few drinks she had the confidence to go up to him and say “I know you”. This was the beginning of their love story. After this they kept seeing each other every weekend for a month straight at Astorias popular spots, central and caprice.

The two had the best time at a Panos Kiamos Greek concert at Melrose Ballroom and Kosta finally asked out Katerina. They had their first date at MP taverna where the blind date took place. They learned what a small world it is realizing both their moms are from the same island in Greece, Nysiros. After 7 years they have shared countless memories and experiences together. From prom date to our engagement, we cannot wait to share our special day with all of you!
