Anyone that knows Andrew and Katharine (Andy and Katie), know their story is far from normal. In 2007, Andy and Katie crossed paths. Katie was visiting from Maryland and a friend introduced the two. A few months later, the two met again on a ghost hunting trip at Waverly Hill Sanatorium.

During the same visit (a week long post-ghost hunting trip party) Andy asked Katie and a friend ( two strangers) to move in with him. Andy and Katie bonded over a mutual love of Final Fantasy, Star Wars and Resident Evil. This lead to countless nights of playing video games, movie marathons, too many cheap beers and laughs. Andy and Katie would move just after a year, into Andy's twin brothers (Anthony / Best Man) and (Jennifer / Maid of Honor)'s home. This proceeded to be a nine year long adventure that started with all-night Left 4 Dead and CoD Zombies split screens, new friends and eventually new career paths.

Always remaining best friends and roommates.

In 2016, Andy and Katie kept the best friend-roommate party alive, moving into their first home in 2016. They completed their unconventional little home with (the most perfect little pupper), Shiva. In April 2017, nearing the one year anniversary in their home, the two screamed their feelings at each other during an intense game of pool, with the encouragement of a few friends.

After a decade of awkward questions and trying to explain their unique relationship, had finally come to an end.

Best friends, roommates and finally significant others.

A decade of friendship and very unique living situation has created the strongest foundation to relationship between the two.

Seven years later, Andy and Katie have continued their video game all-nighters, late night sweet snacks and Shiva snuggles. To much relief of their family and friends, they announced they were finally getting married. Andy proposed in the kitchen of their home with Shiva squished in-between the two.
