Our Story

Katie and Evan met October 29, 2020 at his twin brother (Tyler) and her great friend (Lauren)'s wedding on a snowy evening in East Greenbush, NY.
Evan, despite living in Philadelphia at the time for his fellowship, asked Katie out on Halloween where she wore a one of a kind ice cream cone costume.
Not long after, they began their relationship spending weekends with one another while Evan completed his fellowship training. In Spring 2022, they moved in together with Evan moving back to the Capital Region.
In April 2023, Ellie Boyle Ferrone, the best Golden Retriever puppy ever, joined them in their home.
Together, they've enjoyed each other's company, traveled, bought their first home, become aunts/uncles, hiked, and have become one another's best friends.
They're so excited for the next part of their adventure together and are so happy for everyone who plans to come along for the ride.

The Queensbury Hotel
This historic hotel is in cute downtown Queensbury. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes to explore. It is also close to Saratoga Springs (where Katie used to live). It is also in the Adirondack foothills and just South of Lake George.

Take a look around old Revolutionary War battlegrounds, check out Spa State Park, see a concert at SPAC, visit the horses at the Track, enjoy some cool nightlife, rent kayaks on Saratoga Lake, or (Evan's favorite) enjoy the brand new TreeHouse Brewery!
Explore Lake George:
Right in the foothills of the Adirondacks we highly recommend going for a hike up Sleeping Beauty (Katie only cried once on her way up the mountain. Evan cried 0 times), enjoying the gorgeous town of Lake George, or going for a ride around the lake on the Mini-Ha-Ha!
