Michael and Katherine met in September of 2016 at Radius in Hamilton, and decided they belonged together on their second date. Yup, it was fast! Love at first sight!

They bought their first house together in Caledonia, ON, in November of 2019, and currently live there with their fluffy house panther, Boots.

They are a very laid-back couple. Their favourite pass-times as a couple include cooking, finding new TV shows to watch together, and spending hilarious evenings with close friends and family.

After five and a half years together, Mike proposed on March 4, 2022 at their home, after having dinner at one of their favourite restaurants, 'Big Pete's Steakhouse' at the Monthill Golf and Country Club. The first person Katherine called was her mom (of course).

Their future plans are to someday upgrade to a bigger house, and travel the world. They would love to visit Japan, Iceland, and go on a tour of Poland (where Katherine's family is from).

- Mike LOVES his BBQ and smoker. Ask him anything related to grilling different cuts of meat! He loves to talk about it and inviting friends over to host his delicious dinners. He makes a mean rack of ribs!

- Mike loves to have a good cigar, scotch, and listen to Leonard Cohen. He is a HUGE audiophile and regularly swaps out his audio equipment.

- Mike is a golfer - he always wishes he had more time to play.

- Like most dudes, he likes his cars. Vroom vroom.

- Mike's favourite ice cream flavour is Mint Chocolate Chip!

- Katherine loves to bake!

- Her passions in life are health & fitness (F45) and finding creative outlets like singing, painting, drawing, reading, and writing

- Katherine loves cats, and animals in general. If you have any pets you should invite her over.
