"Perched atop the falls of the Ottauquechee River, overlooking a covered bridge, our flagship in Quechee also offers glassblowing demonstrations, a renowned restaurant, and bar."
"Woodstock is a walker's paradise. Anywhere in the village you can literally step outside your door onto an interconnected, compact system of pathways, trails, and carriage roads. They take you from the historic center of Woodstock, across meadows and woodlands, through a national park and up to scenic vistas overlooking valleys, villages, and rural countryside.
Take a day hike or a short stroll. Enjoy the rich conifer forests of Mount Peg, the historic core of Woodstock Village and its pedestrian pathways, Faulkner Park, Billings Park, the Vermont Land Trust's King Farm, and the historic carriage roads and paths of the Marsh-Billings- Rockefeller National Historical Park.
If you are seeking a more backcountry experience, the Appalachian Trail passes just north of Woodstock, and the Long Trail is not far away. There are several Appalachian Trail access points in and around Woodstock and access points to the Long Trail are less than an hour drive away." - nps.gov
"Our spacious riverside pub & restaurant was inspired by the Hofbräu House in Munich, Germany. It is a magnificent place where the beer is plentiful and the atmosphere is a unique blend of industrial design and down-home comfort. We've sourced local Vermont ingredients to offer you a seasonal menu that complements our award-winning, handcrafted beer."
Open daily, 10am- 7pm.
See what's brewing at Harpoon! The Harpoon Riverbend Taps and Beer Garden, located in the same building as the brewery itself, offers a full selection of Harpoon beers straight from the source along with delicious food to pair with your pint. Enjoy a beer inside the brewery overlooking our bottling line or outside in our outdoor Beer Garden area!
A somewhat challenging hike, but a spectacular view from a privately maintained cabin just off the AT, but as one hiker noted, "The directions for Lucy's Lookout are, to be charitable, ambiguous. Regarding the right hand turn on the AT, it is true you turn in the direction of the southerly AT route, however the turn actually points you compass north."
Vermont Spirits distills a portfolio of award-winning artisanal spirits using local agricultural products, including maple, apples and corn, sourced from our partnerships with farmers from around Vermont.
Our distillery tasting room is open to visitors seven days a week - feel free to stop by for a sample.
