It all started on December 31, 2021. Two ladies went for an early NYE dinner at Catullo's Italian...we're talking Early Bird Dinner, y'all. Joey and Kat met each other that night, but nothing became of it.

Fast forward to March 2022, when Joey and Kat matched on Hinge...you know, the app that's meant to be deleted (we need our royalties!). When they matched, there was something familiar about Joey, but Kat couldn't quite figure it out. At the early morning hours, she awoke to remember, "Thats Joey from Catullo's!"

They went on their first date at Pie 95 on March 23, 2022, however, was accompanied by some lovely pals. Things didn't quite kick off though - life, man.

Bring in November 2022, when Joey slid in Kat's Instagram DMs saying he wants to be like her one day with the sweet, sweet shoe game she had going on. From then, they reconnected and went on their second first date to Pie 95. And since then - inseparable!

Joey, being the sneaky love bug he is, coordinated a surprise engagement at no other than Pie 95 on December 7, 2023. We were surrounded by family and friends...and tons of laughter!
