Where is the wedding taking place?

Lake View at Mountain View Ranch: 11848 S. Elk Creek Rd., Pine, CO 80470.

What time is the ceremony? What time is the reception?

The ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. Please arrive 15-30 minutes early. Immediately following the ceremony, a cocktail hour and dinner will be held. The reception will be end by 11 p.m.

What is the dress code? What should I wear?

Formal attire. Keep in mind that temperatures are warm in the mountains during the day but can drop to the 50s at night.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will take place outdoors with an outdoor cocktail hour afterward. The reception will be indoors with access to fire pits outside.

What weather should I expect?

Of course, we can’t guarantee anything, but we can hope for a sunny day in Colorado! The temperature in June is typically in the 80s during the day and can dip into the 50s at night. There will be umbrellas available if there is rain during the ceremony. The ceremony will stay outdoors unless there is severe weather.

Will transportation be provided?

Transportation to and from the venue is on your own. Uber and Lyft do not come out to this location. Free parking is available.

Where should I stay?

There are various hotels, resorts, and airbnb’s available for you to choose. More details can be found under the Travel tab.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Following the ceremony will be a cocktail hour with both served and buffet appetizers. There will be an open bar all evening. Meal service will be buffet style with numerous choices and a carving station. Following dinner will be dancing and cake cutting. Guests will have indoor access to dancing and outdoor access to fire pits during the reception.

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

There will be a list provided with suggested activities in the area for the whole weekend. Options will include fishing, sunrise yoga, local hikes, restaurant suggestions, and more. Pine is a small town but there is a lot to do. Guests staying in the cabins will also be provided with suggested activities taking place that weekend.

Can I bring my kids?

Since we have many family members and friends attending, we’ve chosen to limit our guest list to only adults listed on the invitation. Thank you for your understanding.

Can I bring a plus one?

We are at capacity with our guest list which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out.

I can’t attend the wedding in person. Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?

We know that many guests must travel in order to attend the wedding, but we will not be streaming our wedding ceremony. We will be hosting engagement and wedding parties/showers prior to the wedding so we can celebrate with all of our family.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

All spaces at the venue are wheelchair accessible with ramps and various entrances. The parking lot is gravel behind the venue with options to drop off guests using a wheelchair at the paved entrance.

I have dietary restrictions, what’s the west way to communicate that with you?

Due to meals being buffet style, there will be many food options available. We will be providing a variety of meal choices including but not limited to beef, chicken, fish, pasta, and vegetable options.

Will there be an open bar?

There will be an open bar the entire evening including champagne, well liquors, beer, wine, soda, and juice. Cash tips will be accepted by the bartenders.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding # or tag us so we can see them, too!
