This hotel is very nice, it is located near the Flower Mound Riverwalk so there are plenty of options for dining and activities. It is also located close to the venue and is reasonably priced with good amenities.
Homewood Suites by Hilton Denton
This hotel is closer to the venue and overlooks Unicorn Lake. It has great ratings, free breakfast, and lots of good amenities.
Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center
The Gaylord Texan Resort is a very nice hotel with multiple fun activities and restaurants located within the hotel. It is a nice option for a fun family stay.
Things to do in Denton TX
Denton is located right next to Aubrey. The Denton Square is the perfect place to spend a weekend! It has a nice bookstore, antique stores, coffee shops, boutiques, live music, and an abundance of food options. You will also find plant shops, interesting thrift stores, and artisan jewelry shops.
In the evening, Fry street just off the square is home to many bars, and even a record lounge!
Things to do in Dallas TX
If you are flying in from DFW, make sure to check out both Dallas and Fort Worth. Dallas has so many incredible things to do. It is home to the Dallas Arboretum (beautiful in May), the Dallas Museum of Art, the Crow Museum of Asian Art, Klyde Warren Park (lots of food trucks), the Perot Museum of Science and Nature, the Galleria (a shopping mall that has ice-skating year-round), and many bars, clubs, and high-end restaurants.

Fort Worth is where you should go if you are looking for a truly Texan experience. They have rodeos, Billy Bobs, live country music, a twice-daily cattle drive, free dancing lessons, and many Texan boutiques.
