Our journey began in the summer of 2020, and from our first date at Larchmont Yacht Club to countless adventures around the world, we've built a life full of love and laughter. On September 1, 2024, we got engaged at sunrise in the Adirondacks, marking a milestone in our journey. We’re excited to continue growing together, exploring new places, and starting this next chapter with all of our favorite people. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Fun facts about our relationship:

1. The center stone of Katie's engagement ring was her grandmother Carolyn's, gifted to Brogan as a heartfelt wish for their marriage. This heirloom now symbolizes love, family, and a lasting commitment as it had between Carolyn and her late husband, Howard McMichael Jr.

2. The couple loves to travel and has spent time in seven different countries. Their adventures together include a trip to Vienna, where Brogan served as Katie's tour guide in the city where he studied abroad, and a trip to St. Lucia, where Katie attempted (but failed) to teach Brogan how to sail.

3. Brogan's first Christmas with the DeVore family came with a memorable gift: a red beta fish. Though it appeared lifeless that morning, it miraculously revived itself, earning the name Lazarus.

4. Brogan proposed to Katie at sunrise on the peak of Gothics Mountain. In order to summit the 4,736 feet of altitude, they started out on the trail at 3:05am. While en route, they had a run in with a bear which they ultimately scared off to continue on their way.
