Katie and Jon met at college through football. Jon played and Katie managed. Everyone knew it was the perfect match.

Katie and Jon started dating May 16, 2020 in the middle of COVID. Living 5 hours away during a pandemic wasn't easy, but they made it work.

Lots of car rides to see each other and visit families together!

Football was by far the highlight of both Jon and Katie's time at MLC.

Having never dated anyone before Jon, Katie was very eager to celebrate every month together.

The fourth of July is a big deal in the Fink family and Jon figured that out really quick. He hasn't missed a 4th celebration since him and Katie met.

Seeing as how they met, football will always be a big part of their marriage in one way or another.

Jon and Katie always studied together in the library conference room during their time at MLC.

Katie was introduced to the Minnesota state fair. MN state fair vs. WI state fair will forever be a debate in the VandenBosch household.

Katie's graduation from MLC and call day. This is when Katie found out she would be teaching at Salem in Woodbury, MN and live only 8 minutes away from Jon.

A wonderful Labor Day vacation with Katie's family that they will talk about for years.

Jon and Katie got engaged at Katie's favorite place, Lake Michigan in Kenosha.
