Our story

<p style="text-align: left;">We met at Stonewall Alliance while we were each going through our traineeship program for graduate school. Our paths crossed in supervision, but we never quite connected until one day our google calendar illiteracy caused a double booking of a counseling office and we spoke. Not much came from that, but the months following I (Katie) paid a little extra attention to the usually quiet cute guy in supervision (Travis). With some prompting from some maids of honor (thanks ladies!) I added Travis on Facebook and one day got the courage (thanks again ladies) to compliment Travis on his socks. Luckily, Travis seemed to feel the same which led to our first date, seeing Totoro in theaters. After the movie neither of us wanted the date to end, so we got some tea, ate some food, Travis met Munch (and passed the test!), went to a bbq, went to a party, and finally called it a night. That’s right, our first date was about 14 hours. We didn’t want to say goodbye then, and we still feel the same way today and are looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together! </p>
