Katherine and Jonathan met in 2017 at The Wesley Foundation of Middle Tennessee. Connecting over the fact that they shared the same birthday - one year apart - they didn't really acknowledge each other outside of casual conversation.

It wasn't until October 2018, when Jonathan developed a little crush while on the annual Wesley beach trip. Katherine was simply interested in getting to know Jonathan and asked if he wanted to walk with her on the beach, and they ended up walking over 12 miles that day, getting to know each other quite well!

They made plans to hang out and bake together, after which Jonathan asked Katherine out on an official date. Their first date was on November 4th, 2018.

Katherine and Jonathan have been happily together for the last 6 years. They've been together through college, a cross-country long-distance relationship, and learning to live with Jonathan's dog!

They look forward to a long future together!
