Our Wedding

Every love story is beautiful, but this one is my favorite. It all started when two people swiped right... On August 25, 2023, Gabe and Katherine had their first date. After a long week which consisted of Katherine sitting through the Burn Center trial, and Gabe's survival of a dog bite, they met for drinks and guacamole. The next day, Gabe baked a delicious Georgia Cheesecake, crafted espresso martinis, invited Katherine over, and stole her heart. The adventure continued with a road trip to Universal in September. Somehow, Gabe convinced Katherine to ride (almost) all of the roller coasters at the park, and go into the houses at Halloween Horror Nights! They shared screams, laughs, butterbeer, and memories to last a lifetime. In November, Katherine and Gabe took their next big trip to Long Island. Katherine was so excited to show Gabe Long Island, and they filled their days with wine tastings, apple picking, and seeing some of Katherine's closest friends. Apparently, that 12 hour road trip to Universal in a car wasn't enough for Gabe and Katherine as they drove back down to Augusta from Long Island. Safe to say, if they can survive those road trips, they can survive anything.

Gabe and Katherine have continued their adventures by attending multiple concerts throughout the southeast (The Rolling Stones, Def Leppard, The Struts, Green Day, AC/DC, Metallica, and My Chemical Romance...to name a few!), embarking on both the Whiskey Trail and the Bourbon Trail, and creating countless memories with the kids, Arty, Bridie, and Deuce.

Each finding their missing piece, Katherine and Gabe cannot wait to enter into this new chapter of their lives. Words cannot describe the excitement and joy felt in getting to celebrate their love with their families and friends. As Harry says in When Harry Met Sally, "when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible."

We have established a room block at the Marriott downtown. This pet-friendly hotel is a short walking distance to the restaurants on Broad Street. The date range for the room block begins on April 16, 2026 and ends on April 21, 2026. Please note that the website may automatically fill in the entire range, but you are able to customize dates.
